Every project in the Energy Files and every case on the Michigan Public Service Commission's list of current siting applications, as of October 1, 2026. Each row links to the record it comes from. Rows without a primary source are not published.

Dates: every dated event in these files, past and scheduled, is on the meeting calendar, with a calendar feed.

About the dates: eleven of the twelve MPSC cases carry only the date we captured the commission's table (Oct 1, 2026), so the map shows them from that date. Their earlier filing dates are not yet in our records, so the map is sparse before today.

How to read this

Each pin is one tracked project. Its shape and colour show where it stands in the approval process; they say nothing about whether the project is good or bad. Select a pin to see the developer, size, townships, the status in the source’s own words, the next dated event and a link to the record.

The slider moves the map back in time. A pin appears on the date of the first dated record we hold for that project, which is not always the date the project began. The state’s table gives no filing dates, so 11 of the 12 state cases and Munro Solar appear only on the date that table was captured.

Gustin is counted by part: 215 MW approved, 25 MW denied, 94 MW under review, 334 MW in all. Consumers' application gives 241 MWac for the Gustin side (site plan; p. 237); added together, the approval and the addition are 240 MWac (p. 1208). Lakeside Solar’s 150 MW / 600 MWh battery is listed by the MPSC and is not added.

How to read this: The bar’s length is the verified megawatts of the projects selected. Each block is one status, in the order the tracker lists them, sized by its megawatts and marked with its own pattern. A project whose parts have different outcomes is counted part by part. Blocks under 2 percent of the bar are drawn at 2 percent so they stay visible. Open a status to see its projects and the record for each. Every project, with or without a verified figure, is in the table below.
